Early Saturday morning, panic spread in Delhi when a missile fired from Pakistan was headed toward the capital. However, India’s quick-response air defence team shot it down in Haryana’s Sirsa before it could reach its target.
According to government sources, the missile was a short-range ‘Fatah-1’ fired by Pakistan, directly aimed at Delhi. But India’s strong defence systems stopped it in time.
What Happened?
Around 5 AM on Saturday, Pakistan launched several missiles targeting different Indian cities like Jammu, Srinagar, Pathankot, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Sirsa, and New Delhi.
For the past few days, Pakistan has been trying to attack Indian cities using drones and missiles. But every time, India’s powerful air defence systems like S-400 and Akash have successfully blocked these attacks.
Attack on Temple, Blasts Near Border
Pakistan went a step further by increasing drone attacks. One drone hit a temple in Jammu and caused damage. At the same time, multiple blasts have been reported near the border and the Line of Control (LoC).
In another major development, India shot down three Pakistani fighter jets. Now, Indian forces are searching for the Pakistani pilots, who may have ejected using parachutes.
India’s Strong Message
India’s Ministry of Defence has given a clear statement: “Putting civilian lives at risk is unacceptable. This is a direct attack on India’s sovereignty.” The ministry also confirmed that enemy drones were detected near Amritsar’s Khasa Cantt area and were taken down immediately by Indian forces.
This entire incident has pushed India-Pakistan tensions to a new high. With both sides on edge, the chances of peaceful talks seem slim. One thing is clear—India is fully prepared to handle any kind of threat.
