Tensions between India and Pakistan have taken a serious turn. This time, Pakistan didn’t just fire missiles at Jammu and Kashmir, but also sent drones toward places like Rajasthan. In response, India launched a strong and well-planned counterattack. The Indian Navy has now started targeted operations near Karachi Port and in the Arabian Sea.
What Did Pakistan Do?
On Thursday, people in Jammu heard loud explosions. It was later confirmed that Pakistan fired missiles at several locations — RS Pura, Arnia, Samba, and Hiranagar. Drone attacks were also tried in Pathankot and Jaisalmer. But thanks to India’s strong air defense systems, all the threats were stopped in time.

How Did India Respond?
Right after these attacks, India launched a mission called “Operation Sindoor.” Indian forces targeted nine terror spots inside Pakistan, including camps in Muridke and Bahawalpur. Now, the Indian Navy has joined in, taking action in the Arabian Sea near Karachi. Reports say these strikes are focused on key areas where Pakistan’s navy activities take place.
This shows that India is not just defending its land, but also ready to control the sea front if needed.
Clear Message from the Government
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri clearly said that India’s response was “measured and limited.” He explained that India only hit terrorist camps, not civilian or military places. He also added that Pakistan started this whole issue with the terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people lost their lives.
Misri said that if Pakistan continues to provoke, India will respond again — and strongly.
India’s Strong Defense
According to the Defence Ministry, missiles and drones targeted areas like Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur. But all threats were handled fast using India’s standard defense systems. There were no casualties or major damage. This shows how ready India is to handle any kind of attack.
Why is Karachi So Important?
Karachi Port is one of the biggest and most important ports for Pakistan. Many military and supply activities happen from there. That’s why India’s decision to target areas near Karachi shows that no major Pakistani base is safe anymore if they attack India.
